Location is fantastic, right across from Heavenly Village. Had issues with noisy hallways and the breakfast was pretty basic. They offered bicycle rentals, which was a nice touch.

Just a block away from the gondola and right across the street from Heavenly Village, I couldn’t have asked for a better spot to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and attractions of South Lake Tahoe, making it easy to pop into shops, grab a bite at nearby cafes like Driftwood Cafe or Baja Fresh, and soak in the local art scene at galleries just a short walk away, all while being welcomed by comfortable accommodations that are dog-friendly; however, there's room for improvement in the amenities provided in the rooms.

The location is perfect, right across from Heavenly Village. The bathroom shower was way too small. They have bicycle rentals, which is a nice perk. Could use better maintenance in common areas.

Great location, just a short walk to Heavenly Village and lots of rental scooters around. Check-in was smooth, and the staff was friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the room's cleanliness, despite a few dated features. The shower was tiny, but it did the job. The breakfast vouchers didn't get used, so I can't comment on that. a few issues, like poor lighting and some unclean areas, were noticeable. it served our purpose for a quick getaway, but the details could use some attention. Wouldn't mind exploring other places next time.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. the noise from the room above, particularly late at night, was disruptive. The strong scent of cleaning supplies upon entering the room was overwhelming. Temperature control was adequate but basic. The bathroom door lacked privacy, with a significant opening and no lock. Lighting was dim, affecting the overall ambiance, while the carpet showed signs of wear. Cleanliness could be improved, as we noticed unkempt areas.

charming hotel, charming location with friendly staff who were quick to respond and a clean room that far exceeded our expectations despite some mixed reviews.
Everything was just perfect.

Hotel Becket is perfectly situated near Heavenly, making access to restaurants, casinos, and the beautiful lake easy and convenient. Despite some shortcomings in room amenities, the staff's friendliness and the ample parking make it a solid choice for those eager to explore Lake Tahoe.

Free hot chocolate with hazelnut creamers was a delightful touch. English muffins? Soft, high quality—an excellent start to the day. Lots of take-along snacks for a ski day, including granola and fig bars. S’more bags at the front desk were a nice gesture, though the marshmallows could have been fresher. Location shines. A convenient spot, close to everything. Rooms were adequately equipped, clean, and the memory foam mattresses ensured a great night’s sleep. That said, avoid the back building. Problems there were evident in reviews. While check-in was slow, the staff responded promptly to our needs. Just ensure room selection is strategic. With some improvements in communication and facilities, this could easily be a top choice.

I had such a tough time with the shower—it was set way too high for someone my height. I barely managed to rinse off! Plus, the room felt so unclean; there were stains everywhere and hair in the shower. Disappointing!

The spot is super convenient, just a hop away from food and fun. The free bikes are a nice touch, and the pool looks inviting even if I never dipped a toe in.
Breakfast feels like an afterthought with the dried eggs and cold sausage.

My room was clean and cozy with comfy beds that felt like clouds! I loved lounging by the sunny swimming pool with a refreshing drink in hand. The location was perfect, just steps away from great shops and attractions!
Would recommend! ❤️😊

Spacious rooms with comfy beds and nice views. Great dining options nearby and a cozy atmosphere.
It wasn't cheap, but still reasonable for the experience.

Being close to the action definitely made my trip more convenient. The front desk representative was also very friendly and helpful during both check, in and check, out, which I really appreciated. there were a few issues that affected my stay. The room heating was not working properly, so we had to resort to leaving the windows open to regulate the temperature, which wasn't ideal. the air conditioning unit was quite ineffective, leaving us either too cold or too hot with no middle ground. On the amenities side, I was disappointed to find no tea or coffee facilities in the room. This would have been a nice touch for those early mornings or late nights. The lack of free toiletries was also a bit of a letdown, as it's something I expect as a standard in most hotels. Housekeeping seemed to be a bit hit or miss. We had issues with cleanliness in our room, and the towels situation was a bit frustrating. We had to request more towels multiple times, and the staff member who brought them did not seem very prompt or attentive to our needs. In terms of technology, the Wi, Fi in the rooms was not complimentary, which I found surprising considering it's often a standard offering in most hotels nowadays. The flat, screen TV in the room was a nice touch for entertainment, but the limited channel selection was a downside. my stay at the Becket had its ups and downs. While the location and customer service were positives, the issues with room amenities, heating, air conditioning, and housekeeping did impact my overall experience. Hope this review helps you make an informed decision for your own stay! .

The location is great, close to restaurants, casinos, and ski lifts, nice for Christmas festivities! Dogs are allowed, and that made our stay extra special as we brought our furry friends. It's a dog, friendly spot, perfect for a festive family trip!
Rooms were run down, dirty, and had maintenance issues. Staff's customer service was terrible, they ignored requests, and were rude about noise complaints.

Great location, very close to the slopes and gondola, perfect for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts. Comfortable beds that provided a good night's rest after a day of outdoor activities. Friendly staff who were always ready to assist and ensure a pleasant stay.
Limited breakfast options, mainly consisting of protein bars and trail mix. Some rooms had issues with the shower design causing water splashing and no towels provided upon arrival.

Just across the street from Heavenly Village, perfect for après ski fun and cozy fire pits after a day on the hill. Close to all the action for concerts, shopping, and hanging out with friends. So many events, we didn't want to leave!
Could use a more vibrant nightlife scene for young party-goers.

we stayed at Becket in a very clean and recently remodeled hotel. the location was amazing, within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and Heavenly Village. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the grab & go breakfast was a good idea, but needed a better variety.
not obvious to find ☹

perfect aprés ski fire pit. Family-friendly, activities: Bleu Wave, beach variety. Ideal family vacation.
For dads, suggest adding more kid-friendly activities.

The funky hotel had a deceitful price increase due to a resort fee. A great location for motel lovers. The room was comfortable, except for the surprise in the mini fridge and the unorganized breakfast.
Feeling like I traveled back to the 90s and camped in a rundown hotel was a nostalgic experience.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, with easy access to many attractions and casinos. I particularly enjoyed the comfortable bed and the convenience of being within walking distance to everything. However, the lack of signage and miscommunication about the breakfast voucher was a bit inconvenient. Despite this, I had a great experience overall at the hotel.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better - just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for local dining options. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the retro decor added a cool touch to the rooms. It's a budget-friendly option for guests looking for a convenient base for their South Lake Tahoe adventures.
Walking in the snow to get to the lobby and breakfast area was a bit inconvenient, but it didn't overshadow the overall positive experience.
Good
